KWARA UNITED, THE DARK HORSE

Harmony Boys in yet another campaign that captures the true essence of pouring heart and soul into every play and every game continues today in much the same way it began the season from Ogunjobi GoldCup to Gov. Okowa Preseason Tourney.

More than 400 young men will be bending their muscles and straining their sinews from today, Wednesday, September 25, 2019, in the start of Southwest Conference Football Campaign tagged: Gov. Dapo Abiodun Preseason Tourney – another superlative encounter… leaving the outcome up to the imagination of the viewers.

There is a quiet brilliant revolution playing out in Harmony Boys’ camp; this is growing with great rapidity and being carefully nurtured by technocrats and professionals from all spheres of life.

In Asaba, viewers watching Kwara United against Bendel Insurance FC were wowed by the sheer impudence of Olawale Isiaka’s opening goal at 64′, adroitly rolled under the opponents’ wall of defence as a line of defenders stretched to block a powerfully curled ball that moved like greased lightning.

It was a fantastic goal which our Southwest fans and followers will be expecting in Ijebu Ode. Olawale’s quick adeptness was a product of self-discipline, yes, good character.

The essence of real competitive games as part of preparations into the league proper can not be overemphasized.

Its importance is numerous, in fact, enormous. The coaches introduced a similar creative execution that tracked the progress of defensive players, offensive players; how it correlates with a smooth transition of the ball with midfielders.

How cohesive and understandable they link and relate or even interplay.

Today Kwara United will start her group stage campaign with Crown FC. The Great Ajilete Valiant are known progressive football partners, the game comes up at pitch ‘B’ of Dapo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode at 10 AM.

WE ARE KWARA UNITED IN CHEERING, JEERING & JUST ENJOYING THE SPORTING EVENT.
