Kwara Kiddies YEG League Set To Hold Seminar For Coaches

The league board of the Kwara Kiddies YEG league has concluded plans to hold a one-day football coaching seminar exclusive for all the coaches of the teams participating in the league.

Confirming the development, the Chief Operating Officer of the Kwara Kiddies YEG league, Ibrahim Jatto said the seminar is aimed at equipping the coaches with the basic principles of coaching.

He noted that the training will further help the coaches understand the rudiments of the job especially at the grassroots.

“This training is very significant and I believe it will further grow the knowledge bank of the Coaches participating in the league.

“It’s our belief that the training will expand the horizon of the grassroots coaches and also inspire them in the search for excellence”

The participants will have the rare opportunity to learn the modern trend of football from NPFL managers and veterans in the dugout business in Nigeria.

Resource persons for the Kwara Kiddies YEG seminar include the Technical Advisers of Kwara United, Coach Kabiru Dogo, Gombe United’s Coach Aliyu Zubair, and the Technical Director of Kwara Football Academy, Sam Elijah (MON).

Others are the former Technical Director of Kwara Football Academy and Coach of the Defunct Mobil Pegasus of Eket, Paul Odey and ABS FC Head Coach, Jerome Igbankwe, and former Chief Coach of Kwara United, Ashifat Sulyman.

The seminar which will include both practical and theory sessions will begin at 8 am on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at the Kwara Football Academy.

Certificates will be issued to all the participants at the end of the program.
