Nigerian-born boxer, Kingsley Ibeh has admitted he suffered a moment of emotional shock after he knocked off a hair wig used by his opponent, Jarrell Miller to cover his bald head, Sports247 reports.

The freaky incident occurred last Saturday at New York’s Madison Square Garden, where Ibeh lost to Miller via a split decision, despite hitting home many punches that removed his opponent’s wig.

Comical and embarrassing scenes were enacted, as the wig bounced up and down before Miller tore the rest of it away and lobbed it into the crowd during a break between rounds.

Ibeh, who disagreed with the judges’ verdict, told Sky Sports: “I couldn’t stay focused looking at it. It was on the top of his head and I could feel the glue.

“I could feel that on my chest and it was on my glove. His hair coming off, that threw me off too! I was shocked.

“For me winning and losing doesn’t really matter, it’s constant growth and improvement. Exposing all the ‘undercover brothers’! I think he’s been doing that for a while.”
