Celtic of Scotland attacker, Kelechi Iheanacho could be heading for a revival of memories from the early days of his career, when he had a short stay on loan at Columbus Crew of USA.
Sports247 gathered that a report from Scotland indicates that Celtic are gunning for a tactician who is currently handling the American club.

Talk about the coach from USA taking over The Hoops could be akin to how Iheanacho’s former gaffer at Leicester, Brendan Rodgers lured him over to Celtic.
However, following the recent resignation by Rodgers, a new gaffer is being sought after by The Bhoys, and there are strong indications that it will be a tactician from God’s Own Country.
The report states in part: “Celtic have trimmed their managerial search to a final list, with Columbus Crew boss Wilfried Nancy officially invited for talks alongside two other highly-rated coaches.
“The 48-year-old has guided Columbus to back-to-back MLS Cup finals, winning in 2023, plus the 2024 Leagues Cup and Supporters’ Shield. His 3-4-3 system, high pressing and player development mirror Celtic’s long-term vision.”
Sports247 gathered further that The Crew’s season ends this month, which could make Nancy ready to move and he is now the favourite to take over at Parkhead.
Celtic’s board is keen to make the right choice in order to continue the success they had under Rodgers, who brought in ‘Senior Man Kelz’ and a couple of others from his days at Leicester.
