Anthony Joshua Receives Concrete Offer To Fight In December

Nigerian-born former world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua has received a concrete offer for a fight in December.

Sports247 gathered that the offer has come from social media influencer Jake Paul, who makes a lot of money from staging high-class exhibition boxing bouts.

This time out, Paul has handpicked ‘AJ’ as a substitute opponent after his original foe, Dervonta Davis was forced out due to allegations of domestic violence against him.

The report out of England adds that Joshua and Paul are finalizing negotiations for the fight to hold in Miami and that it would be broadcast live on Netflix, as was also planned for America’s Davis this Saturday night.

He has now turned his attention on Joshua and negotiations are close to the final stages, with 12th or 19th of December already being touted as likely dates.

Joshua, who will be Paul’s toughest opponent to date, will now hope to shake off 13 months of inactivity, having not fought since his loss to fellow-Nigrtian-born British fighter, Daniel Dubois last year.
