Inter Lagos FC have confirmed the appointment of highly respected goalkeeper trainer, John Dosu 🇳🇬, as the club’s new Goalkeeper Coach, ahead of the fast-approaching 2025/26 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
Dosu, widely regarded as one of the finest goalkeeping coaches in Nigeria, brings a wealth of experience, discipline, and a proven track record of developing top-quality goalkeepers to the Lagos-based club.

Renowned for his technical depth and attention to detail, Coach Dosu has played a vital role in shaping the careers of numerous goalkeepers across the Nigerian football landscape — transforming grassroots talents into professionals who have gone on to feature in both the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and abroad, with some even earning national team invitations.
Beyond his club responsibilities, Dosu is the administrator of Nigeria’s official Goalkeepers’ WhatsApp network, a platform that connects goalkeepers and trainers from different leagues within and outside the country.
Through this digital community, he has fostered collaboration, shared modern training ideas, and inspired hundreds of young goalkeepers.
Goalkeeping excellence runs deep in the Dosu family. His elder brother, Joseph Dosu, remains a national hero — the Super Eagles’ goalkeeper who helped Nigeria clinch gold at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, while their late father was also a goalkeeper in his playing days.
