Jeff Ekhator Bound To Stick With Juventus Of Italy Until 2031 In 5-year Long Term Deal

Juventus of Italy’s newly signed 19-year-old Nigerian-born attacker, Jeff Osayuki Ekhator is bound to stay put at The Old Lady of Turin until 2031, after signing a long-term five-year contract at Allianz Stadium, Sports247 reports.

Ekhator’s move comes after Juve reached an agreement with the youngster’s former club and fellow-Serie A campaigners, Genoa, with which he caught transfer attention after netting three goals in 30 appearances, nine of which were starts.

He becomes the second signing for Juventus this summer, in what renowned transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano described as a deal that was sealed with €16m down-payment, plus €2m in add-ons, which marks a massive stepped forward for the Genoa-born lad.

He joined Genoa’s youth academy at the age of eight and grew rapidly through the Rossoblu’s ranks, featuring for both for their under-18 and under-19 teams during the 2023-24 season, while also helping the younger squad win the national title.

In July 2024, Ekhator started training with Genoa’s first team during their pre-season camp under Alberto Gilardino, then got his professional debut for the club on August 9th, 2024 as an 84th minute substitute.

He helped the side eke out a 1-0 win over Reggiana in the first round of Coppa Italia, following which he made his Serie A debut on August 17th, when he went on for Milan Badelj in the 86th minute of a 2-2 league draw with Inter Milan.

The youngster, who cut his football teeth playing for non-league Italian outfit, Don Bosco in the Sampierdarena area of Genoa, has made six international youth appearances and scored once for Italy’s under-19 side.

In May 2026, he was called up to Italy’s national senior squad by new interim coach, Silvio Baldini, for the friendly matches against Luxembourg and Greece, but he ended up playing in only one of those games.
