Iwobi Reveals Secrets Of Arsenal’s Success

Arsenal of England attacker, Alex Iwobi has uncovered secrets of The Gunners’ amazing run of ten straight victories across all competitions, saying it is due to a united front among all the players.

While citing unity as the key for The Gunners’ surge, Iwobi also pointed in the direction of their new coach, Unai Emery from bringing vibrant, new tactics to the squad, sports247.ng can report.

In the wake of their remarkable come-from-behind 3-1 win against visiting Leicester City on Monday, Iwobi said the team’s winning mentality under Emery is a key reason why they are on a good run.

Arsenal outclassed Leicester at Emirates on Monday night for their tenth successive win in all competitions, and Iwobi is booming with added confidence, ahead of their next Premier League tie on Sunday in a London derby away to Crystal Palace at the Selhurst Park.

Before then, they have a fixture in the Europa League with Sporting Lisbon of Portugal on Thursday but Iwobi, who was named man of the match on Monday, alongside teammate, Shokdran Mustafi, said The Gunners are now capable of winning every other game.

Iwobi said playing under Emery has helped him improve his confidence levels after some shaky spells during his early Arsenal career.

“For me, he has just given me confidence to express myself. To believe in my ability which I have been trying to show.

“Basically also in training he is always letting me try new things, be positive, be direct and prove it in the game.

“It is working for me so I just have to keep it going. I’d just say I am more confident. I feel that even if I make a mistake I am able to go again.

“I think that is the difference between me last year and this year. We have a winning mentality. We have our strength, we were at our game.

“Everybody is confident not just on the field but on the training ground and changing room – the chemistry is working.”
