Iwobi Relishes ‘Terrific’ Match Against Liverpool

Arsenal attacker, Alex Iwobi is still basking in the euphoria of his performance and assist in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool, which dubbed a ‘terrific’ match.

 

 

Although Iwobi admitted that he would have loved to see his side win the game at home, he is taking consolation in the fact that he got thew assist that earned them shared points at Emirates Stadium, London.

Iwobi recalled that the visitors gave his team a tough fight and scared them, but admitted he was relieved with the victory and stated that it was a performance worth talking about for a long time to come.

Iwobi declared: “I came to the game as a second half substitute, I needed to do what I should professionally do.
“Lucky enough I was able to pull out an assist that made Alexandre Lacazzet scored our equalizing goal.

“Thank God we didn’t loss at home, we ought to have won the match and sealed a win over Liverpool from the first half, but to me one point is not as bad as losing totally at home.”
