Having earned his position through the successful management of the Interim Management Committee (IMC), which enacted sweeping reforms within the domestic top league, Elegbeleye is keen to steer the NPFL towards new heights. Reflecting on the AGM’s purpose, he stated, “We are looking forward to a cordial but productive AGM where we will share our vision to make the league commercially attractive and increase revenue for our clubs to build competitive squads and improve infrastructure.”

A promising start has already been made with plans for live broadcast streaming of matches, promising fans an enhanced viewing experience.

Elegbeleye teased, “In the coming days, we will share the good news coming from this commercial initiative,” hinting at exciting developments on the horizon.

The climax of the AGM will be the eagerly awaited draw for the full fixture list at 5 p.m.

To add an air of grandeur, esteemed football icons are expected to grace the event at the prestigious Hotel Sandralia in Jabi, Abuja.

All 20 clubs have descended upon Abuja, primed for the season ahead after rigorous preparation that included participation in pre-season tournaments and friendly matches.
