CHAN Super Eagles standout Imoh Obot has officially brought his four-year stint with Enyimba FC to an end, setting the stage for a potential high-profile move within the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The talented left-back, who joined the People’s Elephant from Dakkada FC in 2020, has emerged as one of the league’s most consistent defenders.

Renowned for his dangerous set-pieces, powerful runs, and composure on the ball, Obot leaves Enyimba with a decorated resume that includes an NPFL title, continental experience in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup, and a senior national team appearance against Mexico.
Sources close to the player indicate that discussions are already underway with several top-flight clubs. Among the frontrunners is Rivers United FC, now under the guidance of former Enyimba boss and Nigerian legend Finidi George.
