“I’m Just Getting Started” — Ifechukwu Emmanuel Scores First Pro Goal, Adds Assist In Armenia

Nigerian forward Ifechukwu Emmanuel Alamanjo, a graduate of Basic Maracana FC Abuja, announced himself in impressive fashion for Armenian First League side Lernayin Artsakh, scoring his first professional goal and providing an assist in their emphatic 5-0 victory over Urartu II.

The 20-year-old Nigerian made a major impact in only his second appearance for Lernayin Artsakh after joining the Armenian club just a few weeks ago.

Ifechukwu was involved in the action at both ends of the attack, setting up one of Lernayin Artsakh’s goals before completing the rout himself from the penalty spot in the 90th minute.

The forward showed composure from 12 yards, confidently converting the late penalty to cap an impressive individual outing and register his first professional goal.

The 5-0 victory was also an important result for Lernayin Artsakh, who produced a dominant display against Urartu II in the Armenian second tier. The result was confirmed as the club’s biggest league win of the current campaign so far.

For Ifechukwu, the performance provides an early indication of what he can offer his new club after making the move to Armenia.

His development from Basic Maracana FC Abuja to professional football in Europe represents another opportunity for the Nigerian youngster to establish himself and gain valuable experience outside the country.

The Nigerian attacker will now look to build on his first goal contribution for Lernayin Artsakh as the club continues its Armenian First League campaign.

With a goal and an assist already registered after just two appearances, Ifechukwu has made an encouraging start to his new chapter in Armenian football
