Ijebu Athletic SC has officially confirmed its participation in the 2026 Season 1 edition of the Dynasty Scouting League (DSL), marking the club’s first appearance in the competition.

The season is set to kick off on Thursday, 5th March 2026, with all matches scheduled to be played at the main bowl of the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode.
Twelve top grassroots teams from across Southwest Nigeria, including Ijebu Athletic SC, will compete in the inaugural season.
Established in 2024, Ijebu Athletic SC focuses on developing and nurturing young talents with the aim of producing professional-level players.
Speaking to media , the club’s Managing Director, Banjo Ayotunde, said the team had long sought to join the league but was previously unable to do so due to other commitments.
“We have been looking forward to participating in the league, but due to another event, we were unable to take part before now. Now we are here, and our intention is mainly to market our players,” Ayotunde stated.
The inclusion of Ijebu Athletic SC is expected to add fresh competition to the DSL, offering a platform for the club’s young talents to showcase their skills to scouts and football enthusiasts.
