I want to make Nigeria proud in Tokyo 2020 Olympic – Dorcas Adesokan

Africa’s number one female badminton player, Dorcas Adesokan has come out to declare are readiness for Tokyo 2020. While talking to the media, She said: “I have being working hard in training in order to make the country proud at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan”.

 

 

I just need to participate in at least 12 to 15 games at both local and international competitions, to gather more points to avoid tough opening draw in the 20-20 Olympic.

Adesokan has won many laurels among which are; All African Youth Junior Game Championship in Botswana in 2013, where she won two gold medals in both single and team event, three gold medals in 2014, in both single and double at the All African Youth Game, Senior category, which earned her a ticket to participate in Tokyo 2020 Olympic.

She concluded by saying, the country only have one acceptable equipment that meets the badminton world standard and i really want to appealed to the Government and philanthropists help in the acquisition of the kits and facilities.
