With Abdulazeez’s triumph, Kwara now boasts a total of seven medals: 2 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze. The state continues to assert its rising dominance in squash and other sporting events at the ongoing competition.
Sports analysts praised the final as a showcase of Kwara’s grassroots sports development, especially in female squash, with both finalists hailing from the same state and pushing each other to the top.
