In a glittering night of celebration at the Remo Stars Championship Gala, club president Hon. Kunle Soname made headline-worthy gestures by showering the team with cash rewards totaling over ₦40 million, in recognition of an unforgettable 2023/24 season across multiple levels.
Remo Stars, who made history by winning their first-ever Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title, received a whopping ₦25 million for their remarkable achievement — a feat that cements their status among Nigeria’s football elite.

The women’s team, Remo Stars Ladies, were also honoured with ₦10 million following a successful campaign in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), where they not only impressed throughout the season but also earned a coveted spot in the NWFL Super 6.
Rising football powerhouse Beyond Limits Academy was rewarded with ₦5 million, recognizing their domestic exploits and their international triumph at the prestigious Gothia Cup, further showcasing the club’s strong youth development credentials.
The ever-passionate Supporters Club wasn’t left out, receiving ₦2 million in appreciation for their unwavering support throughout the season.
Adding a personal touch to the celebrations, Hon. Kunle Soname gifted Adedayo Olamilekan, the club’s Best Player of the Season, with a brand-new car — a symbol of his standout performances and dedication throughout the title-winning campaign.
