This year’s edition of Haskey 7-a-side football tournament ended on Sunday at Bwari Mini Stadium.
A total of 16 teams participated in this year’s edition of the tournament.
Tudun Fulani FC defeated Zango United in penalty shoot out by 4-3, the regulation time ended 0-0.
Also present in the final was the Director General of Engr. Dr Mustapha Lamurde APC flag bearer House representative, Abuja Municipal Area council and Bwari Constituency
In his remarks, Hon Usman Halilu Jiwa congratulated the two teams for playing in the final of the fifth edition of Haskey 7-a-side football tournament.
The Chief Whip of Bwari Area council Hon Saadu Suleiman assured the entire youths of Bwari Area council that sports will be on top priority for the current administration of Bwari Area council.
The public relation officer of Kwali coaches association, Coach Bukar Mohammed praised the two teams that played in the final for showing high sense of discipline before, during and after the match.
The Chief organiser of Haskey 7-a-side football tournament appreciated all the participating teams and the dignitaries that graced the 2018 final. He also appreciated all the referees for adding glamour to this year’s edition.
