Fusion Football Championship: Coach Omolayo Sings Players Praises As Box2Box Top League Table

It was a wake of victory for the Box2Box FC defeating Charlesann FC 1-0 in the ongoing Fusion championship at the legacy pitch, Surulere National Stadium.

Recall that the football game has been on for some months and different teams and coaches have been trying to see their clubs among the top 4 of the league table.

Coach Omolayo Taofeeq speaking with sport 247 said;

” I am very delighted for my boys to have won the match today because some of the players had sustained injuries in their previous match, so I know the wining was going to be a tight one”

” I also thank God almighty and kudos to the boys for their efforts on the field, they did excellently well”

The coach further narrated the argument that came up between the officiating referee and the defeated team ‘Charlesann FC’ saying that;

” I don’t know what they saw that brought the reaction from the away side but to me, it’s a very good one, referees are not perfect at times but the officiating was good he said”.

He concluded by saying that he already told his players before the kickoff that losing the match will make them lose the top spot, so they should try and get the top spot position and they did according to the playbook. Am so happy.

Box2Box FC is now topping the league table with 35 points. Sport 247 says a big congratulations to them.
