Robo Queens continued their impressive start to the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) season with a commanding 2–0 victory over six-time champions Delta Queens at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

Coming into the MatchWeek 3 fixture as Group B leaders, Robo Queens showed confidence and control from the opening whistle, matching Delta Queens’ experience with intensity, discipline, and quick transitions.
The breakthrough arrived in the 50th minute when Rodiat Yusuf calmly finished to put the hosts in front, sending the Lagos crowd into celebration. The goal rewarded Robo Queens’ persistent pressure and superior attacking rhythm.
In the 58th minute, the hosts doubled their advantage through Tosin Rafiu, who applied a composed finish to seal the victory and put the game beyond Delta Queens’ reach.
Despite Delta Queens’ attempts to rally, Robo Queens remained compact and organized, securing all three points and reinforcing their status as early-season favourites in Group B.
A statement win for the Lagos side — and a reminder that they are a team determined to challenge for honours this season.
