Super Falcons winger, Francisca Ordega has come out wih a very emotional explanation of the motivation behind her recent community development and infrastructure gestures at Tse Mue Ato Mbaavarakaa Council in Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State, Sports247 reports.

The 32-year-old Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia pacy winger, who previously played for Sydney FC of Australia, Atlético Madrid and Levante of Spain, Shanghai Shengli of China as well as CSKA Moscow of Russia, said she embarked upon the gesture because potable water was scarce in the area.
Spurred by her desire to see her people have drinkable water at easy reach, Ordega, who earlier played for Bayelsa Queens of Yenagoa, Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt, Rossiyanka of Russia, Piteå of Sweden and Washington Spirit of USA, returned home to commission two boreholes for the community.
Ordega, who was part of Nigeria’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) winning teams of 2010, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2024, conceded that both boreholes have beecome some of the best projects in the area and acknowleged that they will provide a lot succour to people in the communities.
The fair skinned lass, however, downplayed the cost implications of both structures, stressing that she is not rich, but her motivation was simply to make her people happy, hence her determination to put something back into the nieghbourhood that produced her.
She then took to social media to highlight her donation and disclosed, “I commissioned and handed over (two) boreholes to my people of Tse Mue Ato Mbaaye and neighboring community of Ikpenger Mbaavarakaa council ward Mbatiav, Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State.. clock it.
“One of the best projects I have done in my entire life. Access to water has been a significant challenge in my community. As God could have it, I’m opportune to step in and help with the little I can. Gold I don’t have nor silver, but the little I have I make sure it gets to the right places.”
