It was a heartwarming reunion in Norway as Sporting Lagos youth team star Seun Akanji linked up with his former teammate Mukhtar Adamu during an entertaining 2–2 draw against Stabæk in the Norwegian OBOS-Ligaen.
After the final whistle, the encounter turned emotional when Adamu, who currently plays for Stabæk, gifted his match jersey to Akanji — a classy gesture that highlighted the bond between the two young Nigerian talents.

Akanji, who has continued to attract attention for his impressive development in Europe, is set to officially join Lillestrøm SK on June 28, 2026, once he turns 18, becoming part of the Kanarifuglene 🟡🐤 family.
Both players are represented by Sir Atta Aneke, a renowned FIFA-licensed agent and CEO of Players Management Group (PMG) Oslo, whose management network has been instrumental in promoting top African football prospects across Europe.
The reunion not only showcased the growing presence of Nigerian talents in Scandinavian football but also underlined the strong mentorship and career guidance offered through Aneke’s management structure.
