FLYING EAGLES U20: SUWON INTERNATIONAL RUMPLED AIGBOGUN PLAN

Nigeria U20 World Cup preparations suffered a major setback on Sunday after Suwon Tournament reportedly cancelled.

 

The Aigbogun’s build-up for this year’s U20 World Cup in Poland suffered a major setback after the Suwon International Tournament in Korea Republic the team planned to feature in was cancelled and thus hampered his plan for World Cup Tournament

Light skinned coach had hoped to use the Suwon tournament slated for next month to re-organise the team who finished a disappointing fourth at the recent U20 AFCON in Niger.

“The coach was looking forward to inviting some foreign pros who fall within the age to stake a claim for places in his team at the tournament,” a top official informed sports247.ng@gmail.com

Football loving Nigerians who followed the team in Niger Republic criticized Flying Eagles and have demanded for the team to shop for top quality strikers as well as creative midfielders, if the team plan to make an impact at the World Cup.

Today, the Nigeria U20s will later know their first round foes at the World Cup when the draw is staged in Poland.

The World Cup will kick off on May 23.
