Nigeria’s Flamingos continued their preparations for upcoming international assignments with a commanding 11-0 victory over Diamond Stars Sporting Queens in a dominant friendly encounter.
Sports247 reports that the Nigerian U17 women’s national team wasted little time asserting their superiority, producing an impressive attacking display that saw them find the net 11 times while keeping a clean sheet.

Mary Dunstan led the scoring spree with a first-half hat-trick, finding the net in the 6th, 25th and 38th minutes to give the Flamingos a strong advantage before the interval.
Tobi Sarafa added another in the 11th minute, while Chisom Emmanuella Chukwuemeka struck just a minute later as Nigeria continued to overwhelm their opponents.
Harmony Chidi was another standout performer, producing a remarkable four-goal haul. She scored in the 41st, 48th, 57th and 64th minutes to further extend the Flamingos’ commanding advantage.
The rout was completed with an own goal in the 49th minute, before Koasarat Akanji added her name to the scoresheet in the 61st minute.
The 11-goal performance provided another positive outing for the Flamingos as they continue their preparations for their forthcoming assignments in Côte d’Ivoire and Morocco.
Beyond the emphatic scoreline, the fixture offered the coaching crew an opportunity to assess the players, combinations and attacking options ahead of more competitive tests.
