Five Dosu Soccer Kids Academy Talents Earn Senior Promotion, Ready to Kick Off 2026 NLO Season in Lagos

As preparations intensify for the 2026 Nationwide League One (NLO) season, Dosu Joseph Football Club has taken a bold and inspiring step by promoting five outstanding prospects from its renowned Dosu Soccer Kids Academy into the senior team.

Founded by former Nigerian international and Olympic gold medalist Dosu Joseph, the club continues to stay true to its vision of nurturing young talent and creating a seamless pathway from grassroots football to the professional stage.

After demonstrating exceptional growth, discipline, and consistency through the academy ranks, the following players have earned their place in the senior squad:

Enabodje Jackson – Goalkeeper

Speaking through Media Officer Afolabi Abdullah, the newly promoted talents expressed deep appreciation for the academy’s role in their development. They also shared how global football figures have influenced their journey and ambitions.

Goalkeeper Enabodje Jackson, in particular, pointed to Manuel Neuer as a major inspiration, while also crediting the guidance of Dosu Joseph for helping refine his craft between the sticks.
As they transition into senior football, the young players are eager to learn from established figures within the team, including Akindele Ayatu and Ibrahim Muhammed, whom they regard as role models on and off the pitch.
