FIFA U-20 World Cup: USA coach fires warning shot at Flying Eagles

Ahead of the game between Nigeria and USA at the ongoing U20 World Cup, American coach, Tab Ramos has warned the Flying Eagles that his side is aiming for the maximum points after losing 2-1 to Ukraine in their opening game.

Ramos picked what was regarded as the strongest USA U-20 team ever to participate in this tournament due to the presence of players representing top teams like Benfica, Cologne, Ajax, Bayern Munich, Wolfsburg, PSV, Hannover, Barcelona and Ligue 1 champions PSG with only ten players from the Local league.

”We prepared in the Ukraine game to get three points, now we go to the Nigeria game to get three points,” Ramos stated.

”Nigeria’s result, our own result at this point doesn’t really matter.

”I think when you go to the third game that’s when you start playing the mathematical games, at this point we just need three points.”

Nigeria and the USA face off at the Bielsko-Biala Stadium on Monday by 7:30 pm.
