FIFA Referee From Nigeria Part Of CAF U-17 Officiating Team In Algeria

A signpost of great tidings the newly elected National Executive Committee of the Nigeria Referees Association, NRA, will bring to the referee’s body the inclusion of Zamfara-based Fifa referee, Abdusalam Kazeem among the names of referees drawn from Africa shortlist for the CAF U-17 Championship in Algeria.

As the new exco members were being elected on sunday night and sworn in later, Abdusalam who was already in Algeria for the pre-tournament Medical, Physical Fitness Test, class, and field practical checks was successful as his name was included on the list.

Reacting to the development, the newly elected President of the NRA, Hon Sani Zubairu (Fifa Rtd) who expressed happiness disclosed that more of such CAF and FIFA recognitions shall come the way of Nigeria Fifa referees as his administration will make the promotion of those at the international bracket a priority.
