Nigerian freshman sprinter Emmanuel Badejo continued his impressive outdoor campaign in the United States with a solid showing at the prestigious Drake Relays last weekend.
Representing Western State College , Badejo clocked a time of 48.50 seconds in the individual 400m event.

Remarkably, this performance came shortly after he had already featured in the men’s 4x400m relay for his school, helping his team finish with a time of 3:16.91.
Despite the quick turnaround between races, Badejo showed great endurance and consistency on the track.
Just two weeks prior, the promising sprinter had set a new personal record (PR) of 46.71 seconds at the South Dakota Challenge, a mark that underscores his growing form and potential this season.
