Nigerian sprinter Elo Esther Joseph has been named Athletic Heat’s Most Outstanding Female Bronze Medalist following her instrumental role in Tennessee’s podium finish at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Sports247 reports that the talented quarter-miler was a key member of Tennessee Track & Field’s women’s 4x400m relay team, which produced a season-best performance of 3:23.75 to secure the bronze medal against some of the strongest collegiate programs in the United States.

Her indoor season was equally impressive, featuring a 23.11-second personal best in the 200 metres that placed her among Africa’s all-time performers, as well as a Tennessee school record of 37.01 seconds in the indoor 300 metres.
