The chairman of the Ekiti State Football Association, Mr. Bayo Olanlege has been named as a member of the Match Commissioners Appointment Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The Match Commissioners Committee will be chaired by Alhaji Babagana Kalli while the vice-chairman will be Ogun state FA chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi.
Olanlege who has formerly served on the Youth Football Committee of the nation’s football governing body said the appointment was based on trust and he is grateful for the opportunity to be on the committee.
” Honestly it’s a mixed feeling for me, I appreciate the trust and confidence that our leaders have in me, it’s humbling to say the fact as I’m just 18 months in office and to get such responsibility it’s encouraging”
He further pledged his allegiance to give his very best in the committee so as to give room for other young administrators in the country.
The ad-hoc committee is made up of the Match Commissioners Committee, Establishment Committee, and the Facilities Committee.
