He continued, “Despite the upcoming National Sports Festival in Abeokuta, where kickboxing alone could earn us over 20 medals, we are here because of our belief in you. Remo Stars Ladies may have been fortunate yesterday, but it’s time to move on and focus on the next four matches. As defending champions, Edo Queens have what it takes to retain the title. The governor, the commission, and all sports enthusiasts in Edo State are behind you. Go out there and make us proud.”
Team captain Odoma Amarachi expressed gratitude on behalf of the players, thanking the commission for their support and pledging to fight for victory.
“On behalf of my teammates, I thank you and your board members for your constant support. With God on our side, we will conquer. We’re ready to go into battle and emerge victorious like true champions,” she said.
