Edo Queens delivered a commanding performance to secure a 2–0 victory over Adamawa Queens in their NWFL Matchday 4 encounter at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, bringing an end to the visitors’ unbeaten start to the season.

The hosts asserted their authority early in the contest and were rewarded just before halftime. In the 45th minute, Chioma Esther Moses calmly converted from the penalty spot, giving Edo Queens a deserved lead and sending the home crowd into celebration.
Adamawa Queens attempted to respond after the break, but Edo Queens remained disciplined and well-organised, limiting the visitors’ attacking threat. Their dominance was eventually sealed in the 75th minute when Atume Doosuur tapped in from close range following a fine run and assist from Esther Moses.
The victory marked a significant statement from Edo Queens on home soil, as they controlled proceedings from start to finish and showed composure in key moments.
For Adamawa Queens, the result represents their first defeat of the season, ending an impressive unbeaten run as they were unable to break down a resolute Edo Queens defence.
