Former Remo Stars of Ikenne midfielder, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro has received a strong hint towards getting a full contract with the second-tier outfit, following their formal offer of €7.5m to his parent club, Inter Milan.
Sports247 reports that, though Pisa were relegated this past season from the Italian Serie A, Akinsanmiro will fancy his chances of regular playing time in their squad, ahead of any option at Inter Milan.
His aspirations have now received a huge boost with Pisa’s offer, which could see the Super Eagles’ fringe player get a full contract at his current base and go on to feature for them in the lower cadre Serie B this coming season.
His hope of completing a move to Pisa has also been boosted by his impressive form during his initial loan spell from The Nerazzurri, who appear ready to sell him off this summer.
“The 21-year-old featured in 24 league matches during the 2025/26 campaign, registering one assist and emerging as one of the club’s standout performers despite their relegation.
“Pisa have exercised the €7.5m purchase clause in the agreement and are now waiting for Inter Milan’s final approval to complete the transfer,” a report by Tribal Football stated.
Sports247 recalls that Akinsanmiro joined The Nerazzurri from Remo Stars in January 2023 on a four-year deal, but he was first loaned to Sampdooria and then to Pisa last season.
