The announcement was made via the league’s official WhatsApp channel for stakeholders, underscoring preparations for what promises to be a competitive summer edition.
According to the organisers, the 2026 Season 1 will be played exclusively on Thursdays at the main bowl of the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State. Participation will be limited to 12 teams, with registration strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
The upcoming campaign will be the seventh edition of the Dynasty Scouting League since its launch in 2023. The competition runs two seasons annually, comprising a summer and a winter edition, a structure designed to offer consistent match exposure for emerging talents.
Established by Dynasty Sports Ltd, the DSL was created to provide a structured and credible pathway for grassroots footballers to showcase their abilities to local and international scouts.
Organisers revealed that the league has already produced several players who are currently plying their trade in professional leagues across Europe and Northern Africa, a testament to its increasing influence within Nigeria’s youth football ecosystem.
With the March kick-off date now confirmed and team slots limited, anticipation is building ahead of another season expected to attract scouts, stakeholders and young talents eager to take the next step in their football careers.
