The founder and organiser of Dynamic Athletics Meet, Olabanji Ayegbusi has issued a clarion call for total support from all track and field stakeholders across the country, saying the upcoming competition is for everyone in the sector.
Sports247 reports that Ayegbusi also urged officials of on the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) and National Sports Commission (NSC) to lend support to the venture, which he said is officially listed by the global governing body, World Athletics.

Ayegbusi added that the competition is drawing interest across West Africa, with athletes from Benin Republic, Togo, Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana already preparing for the meet, which will hold in August at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos.
He also disclosed that the participating countries have revealed their build-up efforts, hence his view that immense support at home would contribute to the continued growth of athletics in Nigeria and across the West African region.
The track and field enthusiast affirmed that Dynamic Athletics Meet has built a reputation for producing high-quality performances over the years, including world-leading marks, records and personal bests through a highly competitive platform.
Ayegbusi then appealed to stakeholders for increased technical and financial support to ensure a reality for the championship, which plays a crucial role in expanding opportunities for both elite athletes and new talents to showcase their abilities.
“The Dynamic Athletics Meet belongs to everyone – athletes, coaches, former stars, media practitioners, board members, technical officials and philanthropists. We all have a role to play in making it bigger and better,” Ayegbusi posited.
