D’Warriors Count Gains of 2021 As Camp Opens For MSPL 2022

Mindgames Scrabble Premier League campaigners, D’Warriors has set their sight on a bigger objective after declaring a four day camping session ahead of the new season.

The camping session which is scheduled from January 6 to
9 will afford the team an opportunity to engage in selected retreats including a friendly with Anagrammers.

Team Manager Khaleel Adedeji while unveiling the schedule of engagement for the Word-Warriors said the session was part of their objectives to improve on past performances and invest in self-development with a focus to attain exceptional success.

“After our 4th placed finish in our debut MSPL season and armed with the knowledge that success is driven by constant learning and innovation, we resolved to invest in self-development to better our exceptional feat as recorded in 2021.”

A peep into the programme revealed that players would arrive the camp on January 6 while a mini-retreat would hold the following day.

On the third day, the team would compete at Lekki Scrabble Club Quarterly Retreat.

Adedeji further revealed that they would activate an inter-club friendly with Anagrammers on the final day of camping before departure.

He said the session is a strategic way of sustaining the strong finish recorded by the players in 2021.

At recent competitions held last month, Taiwo Adeniran who was one of the newly acquired players had a strong showing at the Abeokuta Club Retreat with a podium finish.

A similar podium feat was also recorded by Adedeji at two events held in Lagos recently.
