Dutch-born Nigerian defender Osazee Urhoghide captained FC Dallas to a 3-1 triumph over AV Alta FC, securing a place in the Round of 16 of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

In the second half, FC Dallas took control, with Osazee Urhoghide playing a pivotal role at the heart of the defense. The captain helped contain AV Alta FC’s attacking threats, showcasing leadership and composure. Bernard Kamungo sealed the win in the 71st minute with a composed finish, putting the game out of reach.
Playing at Toyota Stadium, the MLS side overcame their USL League One opponents with a confident display. Urhoghide was a standout performer throughout, completing 31 passes and recording a crucial tackle. His consistency this season continues to impress, with this game marking his 10th consecutive start and another full 90-minute performance.
FC Dallas will now shift focus to their next MLS fixture against Real Salt Lake, set for May 10 at Toyota Stadium, as they look to maintain momentum.
