Dubai-based Aliu Lasisi Defends WBC Tielt On April 5

Nigeria’s Dubai-based champion boxer, Aliu Bamidele Lasisi is billed to April 5 defend his World Boxing Council (WBC) International Silver Super Flyweight title against Keyvin Francisco Lara of Nicaragua.

 

Sports247.ng gathred that the bout, which is already scheduled to hold at Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, United Arab Emirates will see the 28-year-old stake the belt he won when he defeated Mchanja Yohana of Tanzania in December.

Lasisi won that fight by unanimous decision after 10 Rounds at Bukom Boxing Arena, Accra, Ghana and now hopes to extend his record to 12 wins in same number of fights, as he goes out against Lara.

He admits that it promises to be a testy night for him against the former world title challenger (26-3, 9 KOs), as they grace “Fight DXB Uncovered Show,”which will see 22 boxers enter the ring for 11 top-rate fights.
