The 3rd Edition of the KG Sports Foundation and Doris Nwadiolu Memorial Cup begins today in Agbor. Defending Champions KG Sport Academy will take on Soccer stars FC in the opening fixtures. Delta Milan will face off with Winners FC while Green Rangers tackles Sharp Strikers in the other opening fixtures
8 teams are taking part in this year’s Edition which is Organized by KG Sports Foundation. Other teams includea Ultimate Stars and Mighty Wonderers of Abraka.
The KG Foundation and Doris Nwadiolu Memorial Cup started in 2020 with KG Sports Academy winning the first two editions and are looking to make a treble this time around.
“The Tournament is organized to immortalise my late mum, who when alive was a dedicated Sports fan. She not only was a leader in the church but also a charismatic and loving mother to all.” KG Sports Director Dr Ken Gadaffi stated.
“I remember how she motivated and encouraged me to take to Sports as a young boy to which today l remain eternally grateful, so this tournament is to honor her in her memory” the Oracle of Cambodia said.
The finals of the tournament comes up on Monday 16th January at the Agbor Township Stadium.
