Doma United Is Land Of Grace; We Believe In Ability, Commitment, Hard Work – Alhaji Suleiman Umar

Doma United of Bauchi have set plans in motion for a successful outing during their return to playing in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL), as the club welcomed new players and recharged old ones with the team’s mission statement.

Sports247 reports that the mission statement was revealed by the club’s chief executive officer, Alhaji Suleiman Umar (Mai Doma), who described the NPFL returnees as ‘a land of grace’ where success depends on ‘ability, commitment and hard work.’

Umar added during his welcome address to a horde of players who turned up for the club’s ongoing screening exercise that they should give their best throughout the process, because the selection will be based purely on merit.

While stressing that every good player would get a fair opportunity, Umar urged them all to remain focused, disciplined and showcase their talents on the pitch, as impressive performances during the screening would earn them spots in the team.

“Any player that is good will be picked. We believe in ability, commitment and hard work. Doma United is a land of grace. We provide opportunities for dedicated and disciplined players to succeed in their football careers,” Umar assured.

Sports247 gathered further that the screening exercise forms part of Doma United’s preparations ahead of the NPFL’s incoming season, as the club aims to assemble a crack squad that would be capable of achieving a continental spot.
