Doma United Football Club of Gombe has reaffirmed its commitment to rewarding excellence after sustaining its internal “Man of the Match” award system for outstanding performers in all home fixtures.
The initiative, introduced to complement players’ bonuses and other incentives, was again activated on Saturday, November 29, 2025, as midfielder Sani Suleiman emerged the latest recipient.

Suleiman delivered a standout display at the Pantami Stadium, highlighted by a stunning free-kick opener in Doma United’s clash against ABS FC of Ilorin. His all-round performance—not just his goal—earned him both a cash prize and an official certificate of recognition.
The award was presented by the club’s General Manager, Saidu Umar (Coach Sasa), who represented Club President Alhaji Suleiman Umar (Mai Doma).
Umar reiterated the President’s unwavering support for the team throughout the season, assuring players that their hard work and dedication will continue to be acknowledged.
According to the management, the ongoing award scheme is designed to boost morale, strengthen competitiveness within the squad, and inspire consistent excellence as the season progresses.
