Forward Chigozie Okoro was the hero for Depros FC in their Match Day 4 1-0 win over North York FC in the 2021 Fusion Football Championship on Saturday.
Chigozie scored the only goal of the game in the 25th minute which handed Depros FC it’s first win of the FFC campaign.
Speaking after the match, he told Sports247:
“It was a nice goal. This is my first goal of the competition. I was expecting it how we move and the way we attacked the ball. I think I did the right thing and it resulted to a goal that won the match.
“We worked hard for the three points. This is our first win of the league. We have drawn twice and we lose the other game. I am happy for the win.”
