Adeboye stated that under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, sports have continued to receive increased attention as a vehicle for youth engagement, job creation, talent discovery, national integration, and economic growth.
“Mr. President understands the power of sports in transforming lives and communities. Through the Renewed Hope Agenda, we are creating pathways for young Nigerians to develop their talents, contribute to nation-building, and become ambassadors of our country.”
The SSA further emphasized that sports remain one of the few platforms capable of bringing Nigerians together regardless of ethnicity, religion, political affiliation, or social background.
“On the field of play, Nigerians stand as one people with one identity and one purpose. Sports continue to unite us and provide hope to millions of young people across the country.”
He also called on stakeholders within the sports ecosystem, community leaders, private sector organizations, and development partners to continue supporting grassroots sports initiatives aimed at discovering talents and creating opportunities for the next generation.
