Delta State SWAN Set For New Leadership As Election Hold February 21th

Delta State, the Sports writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Delta state Chapter is set for new leadership structure as her election hold this Tuesday, February 21th 2023.

The tight contesting election for the professional writers will see four former executives of the Association bidding for the Chairman position at the Asaba Township stadium by 12noon.

Those contesting to replace the outgoing Chairman from Delta broadcasting service, DBS, Warri. Mr. Azuka Chiemeka include three male and one female namely Peterson Itiowe Financial Secretary(DBS-Warri), Shadrach Udu, Vice Chairman (DBS-Asaba), Mrs. Bridget Agetu, Secretary (DBS-Asaba) and Mr. Christian Eze of the pointer Newspaper, Asaba, National officer, SWAN.

While Ogo Clarkson deputy secretary (Dailywatchng.org) will be going for the secretary position against all odds.

You may recall that the election suffered postponement due to some internal issues some weeks ago.

However, Nigeria branch President of the international pen pushers, Dr. Honor Sirawoo advise delegate to vote wisely and consider the future of the body.

He urged members and observers to conduct themselves as gentlemen of the Press as they are known for.
