Former Nigeria U17 defender Usulor Nwachukwu has taken a major step in his career, making his professional debut for Al-Jabalain FC in their 2–0 defeat to Al-Faisaly FC in the Saudi First Division League.
The young centre-back was introduced in the 65th minute, going on to play the final 25 minutes of the match. Despite the result, he impressed with his calmness, confidence, and defensive awareness, showing maturity beyond his age on a big stage.

Usulor’s journey to the senior team reflects steady growth. After joining Al-Jabalain from a Nigerian academy last year, he began with the U18 side, where his consistent performances quickly caught attention.
His progress earned him promotion to the U21 team, where he continued to shine with strong defensive displays and notable attacking contributions.
A modern centre-back with the ability to influence both ends of the pitch, Usulor has already recorded goals and assists at youth level, underlining his all-round qualities and potential.
His debut, which took place at the Al Majma’ah Sports City Stadium, marks a significant milestone in his development and the beginning of his journey in professional football.
While the result did not go in his team’s favour, the occasion itself will remain a memorable one for the young defender—an important step forward as he continues to grow with “The Mountaineers.”
With this breakthrough, Usulor Nwachukwu now looks ahead to building on his debut and establishing himself at senior level, as he continues his rise in the Saudi football scene.
