Cynosure Football Club confirmed Friday that the club will participate in the 2019 South East/South South Preseason Tournament, the third time the Centre of Attraction side will partake in the preseason tournament.
The tournament is scheduled to hold at the Neros Sports Stadium in Nanka, Anambra State between the 20th-27th August 2019.
Cynosure FC most recently participated in the tournament last edition during Coach Deji Ayeni’s first preseason with the club. The experience tactician took his squad to emerge champions as they defeated Abia Warrior by a lone goal in the final match played at the Pa Ngele Oruta Stadium in Abakaliki Ebonyi State.
The club took part in the first edition played at the FC Ifeanyiuba International Stadium Nnewi in 2017 where they were stopped in the semifinal losing 0-1 to Rivers United of Port Harcourt.
Cynosure FC enters into this year’s edition as defending champions.
