Sports247 gathered that, in contrast with initial reports that the former Manchester United of England, Real Madrid of Spain and Juventus of Italy sensation could be rested for the midweek clash in Leiria, he may actually feature in the encounter.
That piece of news has raised expectations ahead of the game at Estádio Municipal Dr. Magalhães Pessoa de Leiria, with kick-off scheduled for 8:45pm Nigeria time, as Portugal’s coach Roberto Martinez fianalises his strategies for the 2026 Mundial.
