COVID-19: Anthony Joshua extends love to Nigerian communities as he joins philanthropic aid wagon

British Nigerian boxer, Anthony Joshua who has never shielded away from claiming he hails from West African has taken a big philanthropic step as he donates to the needy during such a seemingly difficult time as this.

The Nigerian-born Brtish heavyweight fighter who often visit the country occasionally posted a video of him and the beneficiaries of his gifts captioned “Togetherness”.

It will be reacalled that Joshua reclaimed his WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO belts in December 2019 from the man who knocked him out in June that same year, Andy Ruiz Jr.

After Tyson Fury’s victory over Deontay Wilder in February, there has been calls for a heavyweight title unification showdown between both British champions which is likely to be held after the lift of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.
