Colin Odutayo Shines For Aston Villa Youths

Aston Villa’s Nigerian-born youngster, Colin Odutayo was in top form with the junior team, as he scored one and got an assist in the English FA Youth Cup, sports247.ng reports.

Odutayo, who also holds Dutch nationality, was on top of his game to help The Villans hit Reading 4-1 at Villa Park and move into the next round of the competition.

Odutayo hit the opener on 13 minutes, then crossed for Jacob Ramsey to doubled the advantage for Villa against The Royals.

The 17-year-old Odutayo, who also has six goals from 12 appearances for Villa in England’s U18 Premier League this season, has played five games for the club’s under-23 side in the Premier League 2.

Odutayo, who was signed by Villa from Racing Genk of Belgium in the summer of 2017, will now await the winner between Bournemouth and Oxford United for Villa’s opponent in the fifth round of the Youth Cup.
