Speaking after the latest friendly, Busari praised the team’s mentality, discipline, and attacking identity, while stressing that development remains his major focus.
“The girls are responding well to our philosophy and training methods. What we want is a team that plays with confidence, intensity, discipline, and purpose,” Busari said.
“Scoring 21 goals in four games is encouraging, but beyond the goals, I am more impressed with their understanding of the game and the way they are growing together as a team.”
The coach also highlighted the importance of the preparatory matches in getting the players ready for the challenges ahead.
“These friendly games are helping us build match fitness, tactical awareness, and team chemistry. The objective is to ensure the players are fully prepared mentally and physically for the qualifiers.”
Busari reiterated that his long-term vision is to develop players capable of progressing into higher national teams, including the Super Falcons.
“Development is still the priority. We want to build a strong foundation and create players who can represent Nigeria successfully at every level.”
