Niger Tornadoes will play a friendly match against Abuja Professionals at the Area 3 playing ground ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2018/19 season.
The Minna giants will touch down at the Nation:s Federal capital on Friday to slug it out against the team which comprises of mostly European based players.
Ikon Allah head coach Bernard Ogbe disclosed this to the media department of the team.
“The reason why we organised the friendly match is for the team to gain experience from the professionals”.
“One of the main aim is to fortify the team ahead of the kick off of the Nigeria Professional Football League”.
“It’s even a plus for us because our first match is against Enugu Rangers, but they have continental engagement in Lesotho,” he enthused.
Niger Tornadoes will host Rivers United in the match day 2 of the 2018/19 NPFL season at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Minna.
